Baby webpage

I don't know much about web design, so starting with a "baby" web page was great for me (baby steps are about all I can handle). I was thrilled to find out, by reading through the assignment, that I can actually design a web page in Word. All the years I have been using Word and I never knew that! It is, of course, not the ideal way to do it, but I can see how a classroom teacher or media specialist could use this to get a website up and running.

I have been going through the Dreamweaver tutorials and will begin working on my "real" website as soon as my design plan is approved by Ms. Kirkley. To make the site plan, I used the "organizational chart" feature in Word (it can also be done in Powerpoint or Excel). It made the process a lot simpler to use this feature to map out what pages I would be using for my website.

I'm having a great time with this. I love learning new tech stuff. Even if I am not very good at it at first. It is fun to keep trying.

Hope your journeys are going well too.
